Each year, I’m asked for ideas that keep the magic alive for older kids who might be “too cool” for Santa but still love a bit of festive fun. So, I ran a poll over on Instagram — and you all delivered!

Here are the top 7 most-recommended Santa experiences in and around Dublin, perfect for older kids 10+ who still enjoy a sprinkle of Christmas magic.

1. Christmas Island, Wicklow

You’ll hop aboard the North Pole Express train to Christmas Island, where Santa’s elves lead fun activities and festive entertainment. Then, take Santa’s House Boat to his grotto for a private family visit with Santa.

6. Santa’s Magical Trail, Kildare
